On December 9th, 2010 supporters of the Big Apple Circus gathered for a holiday celebration prior to the evening’s performance. Patrons and performers were photographed on the 20×24 Camera by Elsa Dorfman, who for decades now has used the 20×24 exclusively for her photography. The Big Apple Circus is a circus that is based in New York City. Opened in 1977, it has become a tourist attraction as well. It has been highly influential towards the creation of Cirque du Soleil, as well as Ringling Bros. tent-based circuses (like the now-defunct Kaleidoscape) and smaller non-profit shows, such as Circus Flora.
